NOTICE OF MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE WHEREAS, default has been made in the terms of the mortgage executed on the 21st day of August 2020, by Wytasha Deon Jones and wife, Rossine Lewis Jones, as Mortgagor, in favor of William L. Courtney, as Mortgagee, as recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Covington County, Alabama, in Mortgage Book 2020, at Page Number 18482, and said default continuing, the Mortgagee, under power of sale contained in said Mortgage will sell at auction for cash to the highest bidder on the steps of the Covington County Courthouse, in Andalusia, Alabama, during legal hours of sale on the 16th day of December, 2022, the following described real estate embraced in said Mortgage, situated in Covington County, Alabama, to-wit:
Lots Nos. 147 and 148, according to the map of Pugh Addition to Andalusia, Alabama. Extended to include all of the SW ¼ of NE ¼ of Section 18, Township 4 North, Range 16 East, said map or plat dated February 10, 1939, and recorded in Town Plat Book 2, page 23, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Covington
County, Alabama Said sale is made for the purpose of foreclosing of said Mortgage, paying the Mortgage debt, the costs and expenses of foreclosure, including a reasonable attorney’s fee. Mortgagee reserves the right to bid on the subject property. Said Mortgage is a first Mortgage and is not junior to another Mortgage of record. Said sale is also subject to unpaid taxes or assessments whether of record or not.
